Founder, Phoenix Investigations

Phoenix Investigations, LLC was founded in 2005 by David Putterman. Our Founder's vision was to establish a Connecticut based company to provide high level, personalized services to corporations, industry, and the citizens of Connecticut to enhance their safety, security, and quality of life.  David's 24 years of progressive law enforcement and 41 years of advanced emergency medical management has given him the proven experience and ability to accomplish that task.  His work in the special investigations unit (SIU) has provided him with a highly efficient skill set.  This is exemplified by his work with the FBI, Office of Attorney's General, and other law enforcement entities nation-wide to investigate cases and prepare for litigation and trail.

Continuing with his vision for a full service detective, investigative, and protection agency, David has expanded his team of in-house professionals to include other specialists of over 20 years experience in law enforcement and military security. Members of the Phoenix Investigations team include individuals with over 25 years of experience in Executive Protection (EP) and Dignitary Protection as well as force protection details in Iraq.  Team member’s experience further includes surveillance, counter surveillance, and electronic countermeasures. Members of our team are certified in technical surveillance, countermeasures (TSCM). This is a very important aspect of corporate security and executive protection.  Loss of sensitive and proprietary information means a loss in profits.  The Phoenix team also includes individuals experienced in human resources management, part of corporate services including workplace investigations with regards to compliance with Federal, State, and EEOC laws as well as OSHA.  Regulatory issues the Phoenix team can assist you with internal audits to ensure your company's compliance, thus avoiding potential, costly penalties and unwanted media attention; employee and management training in these areas is also available.  These training programs can be offered at your location or onsite at our facility.
